Autunm colors

Yes, fall has arrived and as with everything my main question is, what shall I wear?
I don't want to  suddenly change my style from summery and bright to dark and wintery colors.
So, I thought why not combine both?
I think fall is a very colorful time of the year, with all the leaves in beautiful shades and, when your lucky, a dazzling blue sky as backdrop.
A lot of designers seem to have been inspired by this too, as many collections show.

This lovely Jil Sander F/W `11 outfit, reminds me a lot of autumn leaves and I love the combination of the vivid red and the softer yellow.

Another great example for fall colors is this literally outstanding coat from Céline.
These were just a few examples, for how to brighten up autumn, but there are many more out there.
So much for fall being dull and dreary!

Salut!

http://imagesgonerogue.com/preview/07/chanel.jpg
I've picked this picture for my first ever post, because I adore the message that is written in the model's face.
The photograph is from Chanel's F/W campaign and the( beautiful) model is Freja Beha Erichsen.
The Message says,, Il n'y pas de mode si elle ne descend pas dans la rue", which  roughly translates to ,,There is no fashion, if it doesn't go out on the street", which is a famous quote by Coco Chanel.
I think this quote suits the whole subject of blogging very well, because going out on the street, making fashion accessible for everyone is what it's all about. Everyone can share their opinion with anyone and that's just what I love about fashion blogging. So that's one of the reasons I started this blog, to send out my humble opinion on the street and into the world. I hope you'll enjoy reading it and please feel free to post comments :)
